Dear all, My name is Sung Wah and my family has been running a business dealing in Chinese Musical Instruments in Singapore since 1978. Recently, we've set up an online store and would like to invite all of you to take a look around. Besides the pictures which I've painstakingly took, I've also recorded some music clips using the different models of Erhu to give an idea of how they sound. You can check them out by clicking on the different listings of Erhu. Also look out for a video that we've made on how to tie the qianjin with english subtitles. We'll be posting new items every week so do check back for them. Also, I play the Erhu and look forward to sharing my experiences on this forum! Thanks! Welcome to our forum, Sung Wah! A double-welcome to a fellow erhu player. I look forward to hearing about your musical experiences. Are there any particular tunes that you especially like, besides Erquan Yingyue. Best wishes, David

Thanks for the welcome David. Well, I have soft spots for tunes with mind boggling speed playing and techniques- Western pieces like Carmen and "Liu Lang Zhe Zhi Ge"(can't rem the English name) played using the Erhu. The more traditional tunes that gives me the highs are Pu Tao Shu Le(when the grapes are riped), Zhan Ma Ben Teng(Galloping warhorses) and Yu Xiang Xing(Journey to Yu Xiang) by Song Fei. I'll see if I can share some MP3s of the above songs, played by professionals of course...
