www.dreamscapesproductions.com/flava/this was a show I was invited by my upcoming musician friend "Jadesong's" showcase of all womens arts night my friend Mel accompanied me on her hand made dulcimer, she is a brilliant and bright musician at heart Please enjoy, click on the clips which clearly marks: Vi-An & Mel, the other clip just entitled "Vi-An" is a dance piece I created using a blend of 6 different dance influences -- see if you can pick them each out? *Giggles* Mainly just like my music, I improvise on the spot everything creative that I share. Its all for the people, Vi An www.dreamscapesproductions.com/flava/

Hi Bryan, The loading time depends on your connection. Also, I noticed that it loads/works better using Internet Explorer instead of Netscape/Mozilla.
How are you connecting to the Internet? If you're on a dial-up, you may be waiting a half hour!!

OMG! THAT IS AMAZING VI_AN-SAN!!! Your will is clearly expressed through your playing! Almost to the perfection of "forgetting the taste of food for three months"!!! Hey Charlie!!! Thank you for your comment that meant a lot to me. My musical expression and creative form is very sacred to me , while the guzheng instruments send me to a place of sanctuary and peace.. My life is guzheng and my voice is its sound so thank you for recognizing that I really enjoyed your comment. -------------- Everyone thank you for checking it out and enjoying my sharing. I hope to continue to post more to inspire all and motivate you in my way to continue learning and playing what ever musical instrument you LOVE so much! ~_~ Carol: I haven't changed those strings in nearly 2 years! *Ducks and takes cover from potential flying objects to the head*. I use a really spectacular crystal pick up system which sticks to the inside of the sound box and feeds into any sound system. This pick up responds PERFECTLY to vibration and sound waves so it enhances every sound beautifully and most accurately. I had to research and search for the perfect pick up system for guzheng for the last 7 years! For recording I use this system plus 3 high end studio mics and the instrument sounds like it is right there in your living room when I play my it on my stereo. Its great if I don't pay attention it feels like someone is playing my guzheng. *Giggles*. This small little student guzheng is for travel purposes around the city but I really love its sound. I was working with a totally new tuning that night of performance for the first time. Turned out better than I originally thought. On my next CD I will have my friend Mizue play her 17 stringed massive bass koto and my friend Ross Lemon play his contra bass. It will sound very similar to what you heard on this video clip. It will be very rhythmic, very dark, moody, deep and mysterious. I hope this album will make it to the mass market and creap its way into the contemporary music movement!!! Its about time I get down and even more serious about my art. I have been having too much down time lately its time to get back up on my feet and run into the unknown. Thank you everyone for your massive support always and appreciation of my sharing it means so much as I am aspiring to be a better artist every day! Best regards, Vi An

There is so much music around that expresses very little. It is a wonderful contrast and pleasure to hear music that so obviously comes from a passionate heart. Thank you, Vi An.
Best wishes,
David
