I love this forum!!! ;D ;D ;D Recently I've seen my seniors bringing in chopsticks to use to play the guzheng and they'll hammer the string and stuff. Weird....do any of u do this? Btw, when I play a song, I always get stuck cux I can't play fast. Are there any factors leading to my predicrament?

HEY! I used to do that!!! It gives the guzheng a kind of dulcimer and yangin quality except more sweet sounding cos it is a warmer sound.. *Hahaha*. I thought I was the only one doing that. Now I'm not the only weirdo! *Yay!* When you can not play fast, play even slower, because you will learn to play faster only through a lot of practice playing it slowly at first! As you get more and more familiar with the flow of the piece of music, you can pick up the pace a little bit by little bit until you can comfortably and accurately play it faster and faster to the point where it is at the required speed.. Sometimes it sounds even better when the piece is slowed down a few notches! Try it and don't dispare, you are still really young and you have a lot of time to become perfect and super fast! My best to you, Vi An.
