Looks like a great event! I wish that I could go.
Please don't cross-post to different sections. One of these messages is enough.
Best wishes,
David

Deng Jiandong's Hugo erhu CD (Spring Morning in Gusu) is one of my favourite Chinese music albums, but that was recorded over 20 years ago! I've always wondered if he's made any more recordings.

That CD is one of my favorites as well. Do let me know if you find another by Deng JianDong. Best wishes, David

Note that HUGO has gone bust and if you want any HUGO recordings, now is the time to get them.

Too bad about Hugo. Is there a particularly good place to order Hugo CDs from?
Best wishes,
David

Oh, thanks a lot.
I saw the notice about Hugo and thought, "Okay, if I don't ASK where I can get them then I won't go on a spending spree." But now, David, you've just as good as led me into the doorways to the casino.

Oh Carlos, you're not going to pick up any lessons in restraint from me. When it comes to CDs and musical instruments, I have little self-control. Fortunately, an Asian music habit is a lot cheaper than fast cars and fast women. So far. <g>
So what if my mid-life crisis involves a pipa and a few more CDs?
Best wishes,
David

(edited for grammar) Deng Jian Dong's latest recording is by the name of " Erhu Kuang Xiang Qu"( Erhu Rahpsody). I managed to download this album. His "Spring Morning in Gusu" is still on sale in Singapore
