I finally finished the font package and also setup a site for it, thanks to the free Google Page Creator. Had a lot of fun making the pages, much easier than drawing the font characters I must say. Anyone interested can download it from the download page. Hope it will be a useful tool for some of you. simperhu.googlepages.com/homeTJ

Thank you, TJ. This SimpErhu package is love at first sight. I have been using PowerPoint to create jianpu scores, copying and pasting and dragging the symbols around, but your system is much more versatile and infinitely more professional looking.
Here are a couple of points that might be helpful:
· In Word 2000, the template shows up in the tab labeled “General” rather than “New.”
· Before sending the Word file to someone, go to Tools, Options, Save and choose “Embed TrueType Fonts.” This will give the SimpErhu font to the recipient—and I believe it will automatically install the font in Windows when the recipient opens the document, although I am not completely sure about that. The template file would still have to be sent separately, though.
I’m looking forward to using SimpErhu a lot! Thanks again.
