hi. to everyone here who speaks cantonese, what is "mu" wood? im thinking it is sandalwood but im not sure. my grandparenjavascript:add("%20;D") Grints are buying me a dragonhead erhu and they said they're getting "mu" wood. so any posts are welcome. thanks

Sandalwood is tan, jeey tan, or tanheung muk.

Some people's translation of 紫檀 (zǐ tán) is red sandalwood
紫 actually means Purple or Violet and 檀 is sandalwood.

In relation to an Erhu, I think Mu (木) is referring to any type of wood.
