I thought we might like to share our repetoire and tell us about what pieces we are currently learning. My repetoire use to be composed of over 20 pieces , but as you know, that number is significantly reduced since I have less time on the qin. I am mainly concentrating on earlier pieces I've learnt, trying to get fingering and technique correct. But anyways, Pieces that I can place accurately and/or with confidence: Qiu Feng Ci Yangguan Sandie Jiu Kuang Guan San Yue Meihua Sannong Pu'an Zhou Liang Xiao Tin Yi Guren Ping Sha Luo Yan Guqin Yin Changmen Yuan Yu Qiao Wen Da Pieces that I've forgotten and need tablature to play: Shanghe Tingquan Oulu Wangji Gaoshan Sakura Sakura Pieces I've totally forgotten: Gu Yuan Weeping for Yan Hui Kai Gu Xiaoxiang Shuiyun Lisao Liushui Jiuyu Changman Haolin Jingquan Yin Shanju Yin Current piece I'm learning: Guangling San (SQMP) to around 4/6

My repetoire is very very small on purpose. I really want to master the pieces before trying something more challenging like Xiao Xiang Shui Yun (which I really love). I really want to use the graded curriculum from the NAGA site but locating the pieces is a challenge. www.chineseculture.net/guqin/newsletters/qinexamlist.pdfA question. Does Li Xiangting's new book include Gao Shan Yue? I can't seem to locate the notation for it. Steve

Hi, all, Hey, Charlie, would you mind posting the list of pieces in LXT's book? Also, does anyone have any experience with and/or opinions about the Collection of Guqin Pieces books sold by CCN? And blueharp, GY's book also has a version of Guang Shan Yueh. Keep playing, everybody! K.

LXT's book melody list: Changxiang Si Hezhong Jiu Qiufeng Ci Feng qiu Huang Yangguan Sandie Jiu Kuang Pingsha Luoyan Oulu Wangji Pu'an Zhou Guanshan Yue Changmen Yuan
The Guqin Quji is important to get as it contains loads of melodies to learn from. Too numerous to list. You should get it. I've learnt most of my repetoire from those books.
