Anyone know of where one can buy a nice erhu case? I'm thinking along the lines of the nice ones professional violinists use, with space for more than one bow, etc.
I have a decent hard case that came with my erhu, but I'd like to be able to stor my extra bow with the instrument, and have room for rosin, extra strings, a pencil...

we do have very nice cases with hydrometer, extra space for strings, extra space for a bow and is shock proff and impact resistant. we use them for terribly expensive erhus
They cost nearly 200USD with shipping. So unless you're buying an erhu, its not worth it.

Hmmm...Well, I think my erhu is good enough that I won't be in the neighborhood for a new one for a few years. But the handle on the one I have is falling apart, and the only one I can find online is the same brand. Even if I find a way to patch it up, having the extra bow in there is not good. I also don't want a gig bag. So it just might be something I'd be interested in. Could you send me a link to it? I don't know which company is yours, is it Cadenza?

yupz, eason has lots of cases to sell, different designs too. Whenever i wholesale erhu in large scale, i end up running out of cases.
The $200 cases which i recommended are kinda hard to get anyway, and it was made to accompany erhus which cost over $3500 USD. (http://www.dunhuang.co.uk/1.html) I have about 4 empty cases left.
The other types of sponge cases which we usually see with Erhus (foam cases retail for about $30 SGD (or abt $20 USD) The shipping costs about $25 USD more. ITs strong enough. However, even though i have 30 cases now in stock, i need to wholesale 45 erhus b4 Xmas. Hence, better get from Eason. Afterall, they are my partner company in many ways anyway.
