Hi, I just uploaded a video in www.youtube.com. Here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gzItGRQF2I It's a simple erhu performance (using D scale) with the background music from the song Chen Li De Yue Guang (³ÇÀïµÄÔ¹â). This is my own creation: The Moon That I Want To See (ÎÒÏë¿´µ½µÄÔÂÁÁ). Hope you like it... Fyi, I've been playing the guitar for a few years and I just started learning the erhu. After 6 erhu lessons, I decided to record this video to check for my mistakes. I reckon it's a good way to realize/notice my own errors in the video. In this video, I noticed that I kept lifting my right hand while bowing, which is quite wrong. If anyone noticed other areas of improvements, hope you can let me know. Thanks. regards, Tang

Sounds and looks great! It's good you noticed that right hand wandering upwards - that will interefere with changing strings as you go faster. You might want to sit up straighter - a good, strong upper body gives support to proper bowing. Intonation and rhythm is very good. Excellent!

Thanks for the prompt reply, Carlos. It's my first attempt to record myself playing the erhu. Really happy about it. The sound quality is a quite bad cause I'm using a digital camera (with tripod) to do the recording. Hope to share my second recording when I'm got better with the erhu. cheers, Tang
