It's a brutal and poignant reminder -- how precious every breath, every heartbeat. My sympathies to the victims, also. The sadness is too much for words. -dv

My heart goes out to all those suffering in their homeland from the great tragedies of this natural disaster. I pray that this new year brings forth greater compassion in the world and greater sense of community. Cheers to good health and joy!
This natural disaster is a good reminder that big industry has really done a number on mother earth, may "big-brother" learn a big deal from this!
Much respects,
Vi An.

We may sell CDs of our Orchestra online and ALL proceeds go to the disaster victims through red cross www.cityco.comThey may not have updated enough yet, but i'll keep you guys posted.

I was about to ask this, but, Youlan-san, are you form Singapore? Dunno if it was affected by the tsunami in anyway, being close, but I was wondering if you were alright for a moment...

Thanks for the concern. Singapore is luckily fully shielded from all shied by Javanese islands, Sumatra, Borneo and peninsula Mmalaysia. Hence we did not suffer any damage at all.
Our heart, however did. Our country has 7 declared dead, 14 missing and 91 uncontactable. Being a very small country, every knows someone who knows someone who lost someone... very sad.
What can we do? Any ideas?

The Red Cross is a pretty safe bet. For contact info on the RC and others, check the following link: www.asianreporter.com/tsunamirelief.htmBesides the RC, I like Lutheran World Relief since they are very highly rated. Another useful site with ratings is: www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html#intreliefBest wishes, David Dahl Portland, Oregon
