Hey Everyone, Total beginner here - just ordered an erhu from Shanghai, I hope it's alright - but now I hear that there is actually a great teacher here in Chicago named Betti Xiang? Does anyone know how to get in touch with her, or other teachers maybe? The Chinese consulate? Clueless, but grateful, Joshua Eustis www.telefontelaviv.com

Hey David,
Thanks - I typed her name in four times and never found it! But, I never even pretend to be competent. Thanks so much for your help!
best,

Self-flagellation is not necessary. <g> Well, I probably have spent more time than I ought with Google and other tools looking for resources on erhu.
Maybe we need a FAQ section for listing useful resources. Until we figure out how to best do that, the Wikipedia site is a great place to find information. If you find relevant resources such as websites, they can be added to the Wikipedia entry by going through the update process.
Best wishes,
David

also, I strongly suspect google gives different results to different computers. i have not been able to prove it.
Me and my friends joke that we use different internets because i can search for something for a week and they find it instantly and vice versa.
