Hi, Does anybody know if there exists erhu sheets for the "Butterfly Lovers" violin concerto? If so, could you help point me in the right direction? Merci ^^

Hi!
The score is the exact replica score of the violin score by Chen Gang and He ZhanHao

OK, back on topic. Since the original score was written for violin, the score cannot be played as is.
I read that a later revision was written (by Chen?) adapted to include the erhu.
I pulled out my CD of Karen Han playing Butter Lovers with an erhu and she was not playing in the original key. Her song started out lower.

sanmenxia I got a version in 'C' also but not the full score (a 1 page condensed version). Is your version the full score?

I found this site www.liangzhu.org/html/shi.aspwhich has this song played by different instruments individually including erhu, guzheng, yangqin, as well as versions played by western instruments. The site is all in Chinese and the download is sloooowwww.

My version is 7 pages long, but I don't think it's the same as the violin version. It's titled Liang Zhu zhuti lianzou (Liang Zhu theme medley), I think it's an arrangement of the the 3 main themes.

Could someone give me one? Is it in 5 staff or guzheng notation?
