If you're using Google Chrome, then you can flip back in forth with translating from Chinese to English for titles. Here's the site: Erhu Sheet MusicEnjoy. Regards, paul...

Thanks Paul, I'll find this useful since I strongly suspect my erhu teacher has retired to China

That's not good if you've lost your teacher. When I migrated from erhu to jinghu I had the same teacher for a while but some issues came up so I stopped. I was lucky and found a pro jinghu player who had all the lessons on YT with the written info available on his blog for downloading. I grabbed all the training and ended up with a full course. What I like about YT lessons is that I can rewind and repeat the lesson (or parts of the lesson) as much as needed. There's alot of erhu stuff on YT, just search "erhu tutorial". Finding sheet music isn't that difficult. Just put the Chinese title, followed by : 二胡谱子 which is "erhu puzi" (erhu music score). I know what you're going to say: "I saw a song on a CD but the title is in Chinese, I'd like to get the score for it." Here you go:::::: Use this Chinese handwriting recognition app (it's free) to write the character and the app gives you a selection of matching characters -- pick the character that matches. Here's the link: www.mobilefish.com/services/chinese_handwriting_recognition/chinese_handwriting_recognition.phpOnce you have the title in Chinese, add the Chinese "erhu puzi" as a suffix, and then do a google search for it - there are many sites in China that provide music scores - I've done that for my jinghu repertoire (100+ songs). Good luck and don't give up. Regards, paul... When my wife was working long hours and was too tired when she got home to help me, I learned how to become "self sufficient"

Paul I tried what you suggested and filled the blank space with 犬夜叉 and got nothing. I think it has something to do with "my server" what ever that means.

If you're using Mobilefish, you should only be putting in one character at a time and not a string of characters. Regards, paul... Is this the song you're looking for? Attachments:

Your search criteria should have looked like this: 犬夜叉二胡谱子
For your song as an example, The first 3 characters are the song's title, the last 4 characters are required as they mean "erhu music score"
Hope this helps you for next time.
Regards,
paul...
