Hey everybody. I just bought my first DIZI. (flat B) I love if you can give me some recommendations about how to start to play. I manage to get some sound of it so I was super happy. Also if you can direct me where to get fingering for Bflat and scale how to read Chinese notes. Hope that is not too much to ask. Thank you all and have a great day. Ondrej

Was there a reason why you bought a B dizi rather than a C or D dizi? Are there any teachers near you, even a Western flute teacher would be able to get you started. Best wishes, Ed

Hey. I already exchange it for a D key DIZI. It seems much easier to play. Well, I bought it because it was cheap and I didn't know anything about it. Also with the teacher, it is quite difficult to find a western teacher in china. (I am in china for another 2 months to study martial arts and thought that is a good time to start to learn)
Hope that will explain it.
