Apparently, I'm on holiday in LA for two weeks next week. It is with family, so don't think I'll have much opportunities musically...
Hopefully will have access to internet.

Hahaha, no problem. I'll take my qin to the store. We just got a big shipment, so it's a little crowded. I'll squeeze in a place for the qin table.

Yes, hopefully I'll sneakly slip it into conversation... I really don't want to spent two weeks without touching a qin (and since my qin at home is in the lacquer works...)! At least your place is only about 30 miles from central LA.

Carol, I might not be able to make it to your store. I'm staying at a relatives house in Highland, some 70 odd miles away from LA and we only go there not very much. So, sorry!
So far, been to Las Vegas (so bloody hot!). Tomorrow, San Fransico. I would have wanted to visit NAGA and Wang Fei, but we're gonna be following a tour so no room for wondering off!

You are not coming? Oh.. That's ok. Enjoy your vacation! San Francisco should cool you down a little bit.

That doesn't mean I won't try the next time we go off to LA in a weeks time. Will be tough trying to slip it into conversation. It ain't over until I get on the train back to Blighty!

So that explains why the Gu Qin section has been so quiet and dull these days. I was begining to think there was something wrong with my computer as there has been no posts for ages (except mine).
Have a nice time - tell you family to visit china next year!

Been to San Fransico!
God! There was an exhibition at the Asian Arts Museum called Yaji: The Elegant Gathering! It must be something to do with the qin but I had no time because I was on a guided tour! Grrrr! Was so close to coming near a qin!
China? Most likely not. My family only goes abroad every erm, seven years? And to only places that have our relatives living in them so we can stay at their house rather than hotels (which would mean guided tours, and no ability to explore all the goody qin shops)...

Nope! All chances are gone, I'm afraid! I wanted to visit three places and ended up not going to any of them... tsk tsk
