So maybe the Suona players on the forum, or anyone who has bought any other product from this certain seller, can help. I've found a Traditional Style Suona on Aliexpress. This Suona is different from most kinds, since it's the Traditional Folk style, not the Chinese Orchestra Style. Rather, the bell is Yellow, it plays in minor key, and the tone is a little less bright, somewhere between the Orchestra Suona, and the Turkish Zurna. It's usually very uncommon to come across a folk style Suona, since the popularity of the more modern Orchestra Suona. It's on Aliexpress, which I've haven't had good experience with in the past, having wasted money on a Guzheng and a Qinqin that NEVER came because either they didn't ship to the US, or the item was too delicate to be shipped overseas. But I have only found the Folk Style Suona on Aliexpress. The seller also sells other instruments, here's a link to the product in question: www.aliexpress.com/item/wholesale-chinese-ethnic-musical-instruments-suona-41cm-Large-size-zurna-white-wood-brass-surnay-41cm-suona/2040576826.html If you've ever bought anything from the seller before, please tell me your experience on it

Hi David, I'm not sure if this is what you want to know but, I just recently bought my dizi on Aliexpress. I got exactly what I ordered and my flute comes with no problems. So if the question you're asking is...is Aliexpress a good place to o buy from. Then yes, I would say so. I've also bought accessories for my flute and other things from there. I hope I answered your question. If not, my apologies.

Keep in mind that when you order something using Aliexpress, it is an experience more like Amazon Marketplace or even Ebay. Aliexpress doesn't actually stock or sell anything directly. They list products for sale by other vendors who are responsible for the quality of the item and the shipping. Don't assume that a good experience with one vendor on Aliexpress means very much for your likely experience with another. I also don't expect great quality in a musical instrument that is stocked in the hundreds of units and sold for a very low price.
There is some feedback for the suona listed on Aliexpress, and it isn't a confidence builder. There is one rating of three stars out of five, and comments of "not so good quality". There are 997 of these in stock. I don't see how they could be very carefully made.
I try to buy from vendors who know and represent their instruments well. Unless you simply want a decoration, it is worth paying extra for a good instrument from a reliable vendor.
Best wishes,
David

I've never actually got anything from Aliexpress, as anything I try to buy from them, turns out to be a scam. So it may not even ship in.
