After getting my ultimate and last erhu, a Ming Qing HHR I haven't seen his website for a while. SW has now got an Indian small leaf YKM priced at US$5200. Short of winning the lottery I'm not even going to dream about it, but would dearly love to try it out.
However I did look at his zhongruans just for fun and watched a clip of one of his instructors demo-ing one. I had forgotten how beautiful and resonate my mid-priced SGN sounds. I'm sure there are others here and others who are no longer here, who have kept (some) of their dusty instruments in the closet.
I'm going to have to start those pre-paid liuqin lessons via Skype with Eason, with or without preparation mainly as an incentive to practise my liuqin/zhongruan again.
