So I was watching the youtube channel Nguyentai Trung, which uploads some really great Vietnamese Chamber Music, and I noticed that in the solo performances, their so called "Ken Bau" has a metal bell, just like a Chinese Suona. I'll put a link down below. So is it really a Ken Bau, or is it a Suona or a Tieu Size Ken Dam Ma? Video with the instrument in question: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKTM_VbjTPo

It does look like a suona, but I am certainly no expert. If you are curious enough, you might post your question in the comments section for the Youtube video. You might eventually get a reply.
Best wishes,
David

Best wishes, David Thanks for the quick reply. I actually read somewhere that certain Ken do have metal bells, but Gourd or Wooden bells are more common
