The collection is also available as a MP3 download from Amazon. Some of the tunes may be old, but am not sure if "ancient" is appropriate. The arrangements sound more typical of the 1930s-40s, or maybe a little earlier. The tune "West Lake Under Autumn Moonlight" is famous as Ping Hu Qiu Yue. It was composed in the 1930s by Lu Wencheng. I don't know about the roots of the others. I suspect that to call them ancient is rather stretching the point. Someone more familiar with these tunes would know better than I.
Ancient or not, they are lovely performances.
Best wishes,
David
