Hi, everyone!
This may not be the proper place for this ~ but if anyone has an F or low D hulusi they'd like to sell, please message me!
I love my C hulusi, but with my hand size, I have to squeeze a bit to cover all the holes! It seems vendors are either out of stock, or have to specially make an F or low D ~ and I really would prefer not to wait for several weeks on top of the shipping time!
I've seen one F key from Datung Music on eBay ~ but I really dislike the design on the gourd. Datung also offers a low D, but I dislike its tuning joints (there's always something, I guess!).
Anyway ~ if anyone has one for sale, or knows of one, please let me know!
Thanks!

Hi Don
I'm guessing you want a second-hand one? Well, the reed doesn't last that long before the highest note goes silent. So you have to buy new to ask for additional reeds.
I can't remember what the F from datung sounds like but it's probably the same make as my 2 D's. On paper and from the photos they should sound great. Even with the tuning joints they're too high and on one, one drone pipe was glued in, so I couldn't swap them around.
I've now got an ebony F, the seller sent me a video clip via youtube and it sounds great. It appears he's not selling at the moment but there is the same design from other sellers.
I can't think of much music written for the low D. I'd like a G but I'll think I'll wait for my teacher to bring me one back from China.
