I'm off to Seattle, WA for a couple days and wondering if there are any stores in the vicinity that might carry some Chinese music paraphernalia...recordings, sheet music, instruments?
My wifes at a convention all day so I'll be entertaining myself with music store crusing...Rosewood Guitar, Dusty Strings...it would be nice to sus out some of the chinese options if there's anything around.
Thanks.

There used to be Lark in the Morning near Pike Street Market, but that is gone. I don't know of any other music stores in the Seattle area that carry Asian instruments. I think that the nearest such stores are in the Bay area (San Francisco).
You might track down Warren Chang. He leads the local Chinese orchestra. If anyone knows where to send you, he would.
Best wishes,
David

Thanks David. I didn't expect there to be something but one can always hope...
