Just stumbled upon one of my favorite Korean horror game's theme "미궁"..... There's A Korean Instrument that reminds me of a Guqin and an Erhu. ;D Wanna share my find with everyone in this forum..... So that's the instrument that makes that mysterious and eerie sound from the game..... the video below is also one of the theme of my game....... The Lower part is one of my favorite game with the theme..... (The first video begins with an intro in Korean.... The playing part comes after over a minute.) ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfPJshJZiIAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=LYnrRHCPfrMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=44-ILdc9-MY

Nice! The game looks excellent too... Funnily enough, Wagner's dream (I dimly recall) of an interactive opera has been very roughly realized by video games, rather as Scriabin's ideal art was realized by scored films. But every now and then I look into recent games and am astonished by how little I want to play them. Perhaps youtu.be/TjLAhYnf4CY?hd=1 will be good.

Whoa..... I also feel the same way with new games sir George..... most of them are over hyped and once you finish the game.... it's over..... sigh..... I kinda miss the good ol' days when games were good.... like X-COM UFO Defense and Jagged Alliance 2, some Japanese visual novels etc..... "Journey" looks intriguing..... Hmmm..... I downloaded "Whiteday A Labyrinth named school" from online I don't support videogame piracy/hacks but Whiteday is out of print and the Company was bankrupt (Game released in the early year 2000) and CDs are very hard to find it's a game that barely came out of South Korea..... been playing it and it's really a scary game..... LOL also making a Korean only game work and display English is tricky at first..... ;D Uploaded with ImageShack.us

You're braver than I was. Thankfully for my sanity, in the olden days games didn't get any scarier than this: I do still admire the first Zelda's flickering between realism and abstraction, and its successor has the only great literary moment in games: Pure Spenser.

George, you're younger than I thought. The video games I played as a child were those 'ping-pong' and later Pacman.

This thread should really be moved to the Department of East Asian Studies, shouldn't it?
