My erhu is made by ±`«äªY. Has anyone ever heard of him? I'm not sure exactly what type of wood it is, but the sound is very good and clear, all the way to the high registers, but a little weak on overall volume.

Hello May,
What is the Pinyin version of your erhu maker's name?
Best wishes,
David

Chang Si Xin. Nope I have not heard of him either. There are probably thousands of erhu makers in China.
