I want to know if this is a zhonghu. it seems to be bigger than a erhu but i dont know how big a zhonghu is. i think he uses the qqqianjin to tune it D and A so naturaly it must be tuned deeper. please help me

From only a photo, it is hard to tell exactly what this is, but I don't think it is a zhonghu. The zhonghu is normally tuned to G/D. If it is tuned to D/A, then it is an erhu, or possibly a Erquan erhu with erhu strings.

I'm quite sure it is an erhu. George Gao is rather small sized....
