I'm a 15 year old boy and I started learning guzheng since the age of P1 which is around 6-7 years old.I love the guzheng very much for the music.I'm currently taking grade 7 this year and I'm in need of serious help. You see,I knew the basics of the guzheng since P2 but I had stop playing the guzheng for a few years back and I forgot almost every single thing.Everytime I go my usual guzheng classes,I get scolded through out the whole lesson.I'm willing to relearn everything including the fundimentals, rythm beat e.t.c. Can anyone help me or advise or give me tips, treat me like a total beginner, because I also think I am like 1.Please do E-mail me at eneguenat@hotmail.com to mail pictures/emails/diagrams/instrutional papers on the very basic of guzheng, fingering, rythm etc. Your help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks for your time. Sorry for typing so long. Cheers

Welcome to the forum, eneguenat. If you attend a guzheng class, then you already should have access to resources many on this forum don't have. I suggest talking with the teacher of the class, or maybe even advanced students for remedial help. You could transfer to a lower grade guzheng class, or take some private lessons to get you back up-to-speed. If you want some tutorials, check out the offerings at www.chinesezither.net or chinesezither.net/textpage.html . The textbook by Bei Bei is excellent, and there are others as well. Be sure to check out the forum at www.chinesezither.net/forum . Best wishes, David
