I know this is long over due, but... Some of you may know of a little incident this forum / I had with ***. Basically, I was criticised for inaction of not moderating the forum to a more strict standard, which enabled certain members of this forum to express not very nice criticism of products et al of said ***. One suspects Rhp has something to do with this... So, in order to avoid me getting into future trouble and losing the mandate, I propose this for our safety. Basically, we should avoid criticising the 'superiors' or other musicians that are generally held on high, or have a high standing in the scheme of all things without good reason ( publicly). Not only that, but we must avoid criticising other companies products which are purely negative publicly on this forum. I really hate to use censorship as I am against it. I hail from a forum which only has three rules (no obscene personal onslaughts, no magical exposure, no insulting parrots) and it has very little moderation. We literally moderate ourselves and it is probably the best system I have seen, so I go on every single day. But for the survival of this forumship, we'll have to do so until the tides change. So that's that then. CCC

OK, now I'm going to say this loud and clearly:
No blatant and commerial advertising of products/services/etc and/or self-promotion is allowed!
Basically, if you come to this forum, you discuss music and topics. It should not be a platform for you to advertise your wares explicitly, which translates as contributing nothing to the overall fabric of the forum. Of course, if you do see something that will interest other forumites, then do so in discussion or recommendation, but not in a way of that being your only business here on this forum. This especially applies to newbies; participate in a good deal of discussions first. Basically, you'll be no different to some guy who joins a forum, only to invite everyone else to come join their forum on his/her first post (which is just plain rude).
