Even though the CCN is effectively dead, you can still read the old posts. Since some threads and posts are interesting and maybe worth reading, I thought to call it an 'archive' and create a link from here so you can access it: www.chineseculture.net/forum/index.phpIt's taking an exceptionally long time for the other old users to come on here (either they didn't receive my e-mail or they didn't bother), but I'm certain new ones will (slowly) come, so bear with this forum.

I just found out that the old forum is blocked! You need a password to get in! I must admit, I never thought they would actually return after a year... Great. That means a lot of useful info is lost! I knew I should have achived it when I had the chance!
Oh well, so called public forum, eh? That means that newbies won't know about this forum, but since no one can get in to their's anyway...
Nevermind.

After finding a loophole with the help of one who shall remain un-named... I have rather freakish access to 'that place that shall not be named'...
So... I went there and copy pasted as much useful stuff as i can and stick it in the new archive forum! Some good info can be found there, as well as interesting snippets which may provoke some thought in the subject of music. Note that I copy pasted whole threads in their entirety, meaning some rather unclean stuff may be 'attached' to some threads... but call it an example of the decline of 'that place'. Was inevitable it died after you read the utmost ridiculousnes of the 'hidden threat' (more like the 'non-existant threat' if you ask me...).
So come and read, point and laugh at this treasure trove of useful info about music, amusing ramblings and silly intrigues and ego trips when it is not about music. Then afterwards, breathe a sigh of relief that we are still here living in happy harmony, in total freedom from bueraucracy and commercialism... I think...
Don't have nightmares.
Charlie, your inevitable forum dictator.
