I finally started my own guzheng shop this month. It's dedicated to only guzheng instruments. It's very tiny though, less than 600 sq. ft., packed with over 100 guzhengs. It's in Hacienda Heights. If any of you are in town, please welcome to stop by and have a cup of tea!

Congratulations!! The picture is lovely. 600 square feet dedicated to guzheng is probably the most anywhere outside of Asia!
Hopefully I can pay a visit soon!

Thank you all! Welcome here any time.
People keep saying I'm not realistic, and I should attract more customers by equiping with Erhu, pipa and other Chinese instruments. Well, I'll stay with guzheng, since that' the only instrument I have professional knowledge with.

Carol, Congratulations on your new business venture and I wish you the very best!
You have a good point about just staying with something you know. I think that you would have to bring in people with erhu, pipa, etc., expertise in order to sell other instruments. I know from my personal experiences, that I'm very much turned off from people selling me something when they can't answer my questions about the product -- sort of like that picture in a past post that showed the woman advertising the erhu on eBay and she was holding the erhu totally incorrectly.
Regards, paul...

That's superb and they do look lovely. I think if you stay just with the Guzheng's you'll gradually build up a very strong reputation and have people coming to you from a very long way away Si

Carol, Congratulations !! on your next step of success !! I am sure that your shop will definitely go so well in the very near future as the time I was dealing with you for my Scarlet Bird #10, you are a great professional personnel in the Guzheng's world. I still do recommend your shop to everyone (who are looking for a guzheng with reasonable price and helpful & sincere service) and even the website. Cheers !!!!

Congrats, Carol! I certainly also recommend chinesezither.net. They carry an extensive line of excellent instruments at reasonable prices, plus sincere and honest opinions on the instruments. If you can't get it right at chinesezither.net, your chance won't be better elsewhere in the U.S. Keep the good stuff coming!

Hi Sitorimon:
Yes, I'm part of Sound of China, Chinesezither.net. The shipping for a guzheng to UK is around $270 without hard case or $330 with hard case.
