I just received the pictures of my custom-design guzheng. The model is a descent instrument for beginners, and I'll probably price it around $300s. It's rosewood imitating zitan, with caligraphy. I use the design earlier on my custom-made zitan from Tianyi. Then I decided to mass produce it. It uses air-dried sound board. All materials are descent. These guzhengs are being made in Tianyi factory supervised by Mr. Wang Jianqun. The right side is "High Mountain Flowing Water", and the left side is the poem "Playing Zither in Morning Dew Temple" by the famous poet Su Dongpo. "High Mountain Flowing Water" is my favorite phrase in music, cause it's a way to say hello to listeners who understand your music. The poem is about the poet playing guzheng in the Plentiful Sights Tower next to the Yangtze River. Accompanying him are the singing of monkeys and the waves of the great river. The touching tone went to the ears of the River goddess, and she makes the waves dancing with the music. I picked this poem out of the hundred poems describing guzheng. Most of those made guzheng sounds like a sad lady always waiting for her man. I don't like those. Here are the pictures: pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/carolchang/album?.dir=6b6c&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photosI'm going to called this zheng "High Mountain and Flowing Water". Sorry, I don't intend this to be a commercial. I'm just so excited that I want to share.

Yay! The Hight Mountain and Flowing Water are here. Mr. Wang really amazes me. All his guzhengs sound so nice. Even and dynamic.
