Does anyone know a web source for the music to Guan Shan Yueh?
I have a virtually unreadable version that I found on the web. Not only is it almost impossible to read, but the version is quite different from the one played by Gong Yi, Wang Fei et al.
I have tried to notate what Gong Yi does in his VCD but the camera angles are poor, so important transitions (string to string) are difficult to see.
Many Thanks!
Steve

Do you want the score or the music?

The music if it has the jianzipu. I haven't progressed far enough to be able to read directly from the score. Thanks!

Em, score as in physical guqin notation/jianpu/staff, or music as in non-physical sound?

Thank you. I was hoping for a staff/jianzipu version, since my skill at reading directly fom the score is rather... nonexistant.
This will give me some practice!

I just remembered I have a staff version as well. Will post that up, after I've finished my work for today.

I am most grateful for your posting this piece in jianzi-pu. I knew the tune fairly well - couldn't get it out of my head in fact.
At first it was a huge challenge not to have the nice comfy western staff as a guide. Then with further study it became clearer and clearer.
Now the use of jianzi-pu as a reference for recalling how a known piece was fingered makes sense.
I doubt that I could dapu anything, but I am glad to be started on the path!
