Hello, I'm a new user from Texas, and I am very interested in playing the dizi. ^_^ I am sure that this may have been posted before but, does anyone know of a local supplier in the states that sells dizi? So far, all of my phone calls to local music stores have pointed me in the direction of a store called "Lark in the Morning" located in San Francisco, California. here is their website: www.larkinthemorning.com/Has anyone previously ordered a dizi from this store? And if so, was the product you recieved genuine (in reguards to craftsmanship, etc.?). Another store I have found online is called "Clarion Music"(their site is located here): www.clarionmusic.com/which seems to be in the same area. Has anyone ordered an instrument from here? Any advice you could give me would be wonderful!

I can vouch for Cadenza's dizis, it is very good. Of the 3 C-key dizis I have, this is the most responsive. The tone is good as well. Sorry I can't comment on the other 2 websites you gave, since I have never bought from them before...

I've been to the Lark in The Morning store in SF. I bought a C key dizi there. They are good quality. Even though they say nontunable, they really are. The picture's tuning slide is just a little darker than the bamboo. And the dizi's are pretty cheap.
