Hello I’m a dizi player newbie. Currently I practice with key D major dizi. I can blow only A, B, C for lower octave & cannot blow for note lower than that (D,E,F,G). Is there any suggestion for me to overcome my problem?

Hey! Not sure which notes you mean - isn't D, E, F, G higher than A, B, C? How many fingers are you holding down?
Do you mean you want to play lower than the range of the flute? The only way would be to get a flute in a lower key. A low G flute will go 4 notes lower than a D flute.

I am not quite sure of the nature of the problem. "D" on a D dizi is produced by covering the three left-hand holes. The last three notes of the lower octave (C#, B, & A) are produced by covering one or more of the three right-hand holes.
Please clarify the problem/question.
Best wishes,
David
