Hi, nice to meet you ! I'm a beginner and planning to buy my first hulusi. I would just get some advises and some help on few points before to get mine : Below are two videos i found, and i'm not sure what are the keys used in each one. I think it could be a G for the first one, and a F for the second video, could you confirm that please ? Video 1Video 2
I've been looking online to have an idea of prices for hulusi, but there are so much disparities. I don't even know which sellers actually delivers good quality products.. I'm figuring that the cheapests one (15-30$) have to be avoided, but what about sellers ? I found some hulusis from Eason, Senque, and several others on E-bay & Amazon, but may be you have some advise on trusted sellers or specific website where to buy mine ? Any help is welcome ! And if you've got some tips for a beginner like me, i will be glad to read you too ! Thanks by advance.

Hi deeseecake and welcome.
I haven't had time to look at the videos but I'd recommend a C key hulusi. Do you play any other woodwind? If not I wouldn't buy an expensive one. I must at one point had over fifteen hulusis at varying price points and I've found price make little difference to sound quality. My £6 GBP is so good my teacher uses it for performances.
One thing which is a must though is removable pipes.

edit. I think the hulusis in both videos are F

Hi edcat7,
Thanks a lot for your answer. I will follow your advise and not to buy a too expansive one. No i'm not playing another woodwind, just started with duduk few weeks ago.
