Hello ! I have recently bought a cheap g key dizi from ebay and i am trying to learn some songs. Unfortunately i have never played any instrument whatsoever and have zero musical knowledge and can't read classical music sheets. I have found some tabs which show the fingering like on the image bellow. But i haven't found many for some kind of asian folk music and I would be really glad if someone had these and could point me in their direction . Thanks ! Radim Bonus question ! I have also found out that there are bass dizi flutes and they sound really magnificet ! But as I already said I have zero knowledge of music industry, so could anyone explain to me the difference between "normal" and bass dizi ? I am asking this, becouse i would really love to make my own bass dizi and i want to know in what aspects are they different. I have noticed they are way bigger but is that the only thing ? example of bass dizi here, Thanks again

if you're going to start playing woodwinds, i would suggest getting an irish whistle or tenor recorder, you can get a better quality wooden one if you think you are going to play for a while. Then you can move onto a dizi or 6-hole keyless irish flute or 8-hole xiao. Its a long journey...
From what Ive heard, you need to be a good flute player before youre able to construct a decent flute
