Forgot to add some additional stuff about this curtain call picture. Quite a few people sang (besides Cheng-Ying Chuang). The left most person in blue sang in Hakka. Next to him were two Taiwanese Austro-Polynesians who sang aboriginal songs (and I caught Cheng-Ying Chuang trying to softly mimc them in the performance!). Next to the Taiwanese aborigines are two blind dizi players, who had to be guided to face the direction of the silent audience before they performed. The lady in the qipao sang in a Beijing dialect. Next to her on the right was a person wearing a Japanese dress, which meant of course that he played the shakuhachi.
