Thanks Joe, I bought a C yellow sandalwood dizi from him which aside from being on the high side is a joy to play. There must be something about C dizis, my other 3 are on the high side as well.

I had my eye on the green sandalwood dizi until it vanished from Ebay. Lately I have been considering the rosewood dizi. Too many bills have delayed such a purchase unfortunately. I could use a dizi that blows a little sharp. My others blow flat with the headjoint all the way in. We will see.

I have a C rosewood dizi from another vendor and the first octave sounds great and deep. The higher octave is very sharp and seems out of tune. Yes unfortunately, we're in the worst recession in living memory.
