I think it's great what you're doing, playing a Chinese instrument and putting your own twist to it. I see no difference between a violin player teaching him/herself the erhu and your twist on things....we can't all afford tuition. I only wish my zhongruan playing was just as good. keep it up.

Thanks Ed. I'm the most proud of TROPIcoco. As you said the tone is very smooth. And that instrument id considered student grade. I have to admit seeing the videos gave me more confidence with my Playing.

Thanks rappelz. I've been at it now for three years and still the instrument surprises me! Yes I created my own musical idiom with the zhongruan. I love it immensely!
