This is a pic of me, I think from summer 2010, playing in the library lobby where I work. Yes, I did stop traffic, and a few people took pics. And of course, the questions: "My God, what's that?" "Man, those frets, how do you do it?" "It's not a banjo???" "Why does it have a face?" [?] I had fun! Attachments:

The pegs are made of black ox horn. This is the ruan I got from shoppingchinanow.com, and it is still priced at $218.00 ($100.00 shipping). It's quite a value, although the ruan pictured had bird soundholes.

What a brilliant venue to play! You must've had a great time with all of the acoustics. Lucky you - I only ever got told to shut up for talking too much in libraries You look really relaxed with it - the fruit of experience!
