Does anyone know a bookshop that stocks any books on chinese music - in London?
I never see anything - only indian music!

You might try the Guanghua Bookstore in Chinatown (opposite the pagoda). I checked once but didn't find anything, but maybe coz I was in a rush.
As far as mainstream bookstores are concerned, they don't stoke any. If you go to amazon.co.uk, there are some books on ethnomusicology, and I spotted one book on Chinese chamber music.

yeah there are some books published ages ago in america by some chinese music association - i think they are the best i have seen - i once borrowed one from singapore library - oh well.............
