I have noticed that i have 2 slightly raised areas arounf the 6th hui on my qin (only got it in march!). One of the bubbles has a fine crack in it.
One part of me is horrified, the other is wondering is this is normal as the fine crack on the bubble looks like the beginnings of one of those Duan Wen.
Should I take the qin back imediately or just forget it?

We need pics to see what it looks like before we can pass judgement on what it is and how to deal.

here are the images - its a bit more difficult to see or capture with photography without indoor lighting equipment. the general shot shows the bubble with the fine crack and the top left corner shows some mini bubbles (I have linked the URL - should I link the image tag or the other one) Cheers

Doesn't look fatal on initial looks. As long as it doesn't impeed playing (like my dent on my qin does) then it should be OK.
