An idea I got from a fellow Wikipedian: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:CharlieHuangIt's probably not that good, coz my classical Chinese is very basic. Anyone else (with a ego big enough) wants a go (best not type it on this forum incase it comes up as gobbledy-gook)? ;D EDIT: Might have to cut and paste link into address bar...

What a fabulous bio. I've been meaning to set mine up for ages but laziness, I mean, preoccupation with important matters has kept me from getting started. Is there a template?

Template for the bio or template for the page?
The classical Chinese bio was 'borrowed' from another wikipedian, then I basically changed and adapted it to suit my life. It is around 75% longer than the original as I've only used a small portion of the original structure; namely the beginning structure of name, year of birth, place of birth, education, etc. The rest is my own conceptions as the original template went on a more political perspective, I went all rounf artistical.

Are you registered with Wikipedia? Note that if you aren't, you should register only if you contribute something to Wikipedia (you shouldn't use wiki as a 'homepage' per se; I can do it cos I mix it with my wiki work (and it does contain stuff about my wiki work as well)). Then, you won't run the risk of your account being deleted. If you just want a Classical Chinese bio, then the best thing is to do is to type it out in a word document then publish it on your webspace.
EDIT: Re-read your post. You do have a wiki account? If that's so, there really is no template. Just keep the structure the same in the introductory paragraph and add your own info for the rest. Every bio is obviiusly unique. Also, to pull it off, you need to conform to Classical Chinese structures and naming conventions (like how to refer to dates and years; i.e. the year of reign of so-and-so rather than the Western date), then wikify them so that people know what it means for terms that aren't blatantly obvious. Of course, I could help you a bit on this. What's your wiki user account page?
