which one is more suitable for erhu, andrea violin orchestra rosin or violin solo rosin? or is pirastro oliv better?

Whilst we are on the subject of Rosin - I know on a new bow you have to rosin liberally (like 60ish strokes of the bow) to get it sounding good, does the bow need to be rosined this much all the time or after a while does the amount you need become less?

As far as I know once the hair has been rosined appropriately you only need a few strokes every other day unless you're playing for hours on end daily. I've noticed it helps to clean off excess rosin on the strings to retain a good grab.
