Hi Yaoyao,
I've been studying the erhu for almost one year now and have many scores but not Butterfly Lovers. If I have a score you can use, I would be happy to scan it in and email it to you.
As far as recommending an erhu for you, I am not advanced enough to do that, but I have seen "student" models listed from the various web sites.
Some other people on this site have much more experience than me -- maybe they can help you with an erhu selection.
Good luck!!
Regards,
Paul.
PS: Butterfly Lovers is one of my favorites --

I have accompanied Butterfly Lovers 11 times already 9 with Violin, once with pipa and once with erhu/gaohu.. I think the Erhu version is the same with the Violin version, except you can really do the double stops and that you change to erhu when the key changes to bE somewhere in the middle.. I can try to look for you, maybe i have, den i post to you

Hi!
Let me see, if you can wait for 2 weeks, and wood like an investment to last you till you play professionally, the Ebony Sandalwod one will be wonderful. I think a lot had just been sonld and next bacth will come son.
If you just want a very good erhu now for Grade 5-8, the Hangzhou Redwood one is outstanding.
If you have the money to spend, and would like to really own somethging everyone loves, the Golden Sandalwood one is really wonderful.
