Hello everyone, I've been stalking this forum for awhile. I'm a violinist by training who became enamored of the erhu after a visit to China last year and am currently trying to learn it. (Unfortunately, on my own. If anyone knows of a teacher in northern Italy, I would be grateful!) But the reason I am writing today is that I would like to know if the music is available for a piece entitled "Variations on the Song of Yang Wan" which you can hear on this YouTube video at minute 45:30: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Y4ncLy9LAThank you!

Welcome to the forum. In the comments section of that YouTube page were the song titles that you saw: 1,旱天雷 Thunder in dry days 2,紫竹调 Melody of purple bamboo 3,渔歌唱晚 Fisherman's song of dusk 4,月牙五更 Cresentmoon in the dawn 5,平湖秋月 Autumn moon over calm lake 6,阳关三叠 Variation of Yangguan 7,寒鸦戏水 Ravens in the winter waters 8,草原上 on the grassland 9,赛马 Horse racing Take the Chinese title and add 二胡谱子 (erhu music score) to the beginning or end of the title and put the full name into Google and you'll get many hits from several popular sites that have the music scores -- you can then copy/download the song. BTW, all those songs you want are popular, traditional songs. Regards, paul...
