Wow. What kind of university is that? I've never ever heard of it in London before! Any landmarks near it?

I've never heard of it before either! I think it's an overseas part of a Malaysian Uni, the opera people are just using the building.
It's opposite Green Park, next door is the Japanese embassy and on the other side is a hotel. It's much nearer to the Hyde Park Corner end of Piccadilly (big long road) than it is to Piccadilly Circus. And Buckingham Palace is just a few minutes walk away.
I might just add I don't think there's going to be any live music, but people will sing live to backing tracks.

As much as I like to support Kathy and Co. I'll be rushing back from my music lesson. Dartford is a long way from me. However I should make it with my mum to the next Peking opera (evening)do.
