I got it over 15 years ago in New York at Pearl River Department Store in Chinatown. Back then, I didn't have the luxury of so many choices as today, though it still sounded good. I think you have many more alternatives now. Larkinam.com also carry an 18 string plain one, but I don't have confidence in the quality. I did visit their store in San Francisco a few years ago. None of their guzhengs appealed to me. I think chineseculture.net also sells a number of Longfeng or Yayun guzhengs, but their price is up there for what you can. You can check with chinesezither.net if they have anything. They are always helpful and fair with their prices. If they can't get it for you, they may direct you to a good source.
