Welcome to the forum, ardybawss. My advice is to get a six hole dizi in D or C. These keys are useful and are most comfortable to play. Larger flutes require large or experienced hands to manage the stretch required to cover the finger holes. Smaller flutes, such as the G dizi require a very focused embouchure (lip opening) and the fingers are uncomfortably close together. I have purchased many of my dizi flutes at Eason Music in Singapore. easonmusicstore.com/If you don't have a teacher, you might consider the course by Tim Liu at www.2measures.com/diziprog.html . Tim's course uses a C dizi. Best wishes, David

Thank you so much for your reply David.I just bought a G Dizi from Carrotmusic since the other flutes were way to expensive for me.As a starter I need something cheap to learn first and then I will consider buying one from the link you gave me.I am thankful for your replay and also for the onlien course
